A concentrated, tightly-extracted coffee made by forcing hot water through finely ground coffee under high pressure. Produces a rich, bold flavor with crema on top — the foundation for many espresso-based drinks or a standalone shot.

  1. Preheat machine & portafilter, purge group head.
  2. Grind 7 g coffee finely.
  3. Tamp evenly and firmly.
  4. Pull shot for 20–30 seconds.
  5. Stop at target volume/time and serve immediately.
