Chicken Scampi is a flavorful Italian-American dish made with tender chicken sautéed in garlic, butter, olive oil, white wine, and lemon juice. It’s light, aromatic, and perfect served over pasta or with crusty bread.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Season the chicken slices with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  6. Add red pepper flakes if using, and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Serve hot over cooked pasta or with bread. Top with Parmesan if desired.
